Eclipse is here, yes. The hate is also here. But, what people did not understand is that Wix, which owns dA now, doesn't care about this site and its users. They don't care if the site's popularity goes down. They'll simply shut it down and us the rss to do whatever they want. Since Wix bought dA, dA took the road of the beginning of the end. We struggle, we yell, but we are being ignored. Why? Simply because Wix doesn't care. It doesn't affect them.We all love this place, the old one. For some of us the old dA was the place where we started our artsy path, some meet their forever friends, for others it became their home, their family. Yes, is heartbreaking to get everything we loved taken away. But nothing stays forever. Things will change whether we like it or not.. In the same time, none's forcing us to stay. There are many other art sites that we can use. There are new upcoming ones as well! The art community doesn't gravitate around dA only anymore. As for what I will do, I will try to get used to this new dA, I won't leave, but I will be mostly active on twitter and instagram. So I hope I'll still see some of you around, here or on other platforms. Please, let's stop the hate...

Leaving for good?
Got enough drama from the Sonic movie (please don't try to talk with me about it, I'm not up for a debate and nor I have an opinion about it). I also felt welcomed and appreciated on these platforms. Which is why I got so dead here.
But i honestly kind of miss this place? I want try to be active again, even if it means photographed sketches or rushed drawings (my work quality dropped because I barely have time for digital work TvT)
Now, a few things changed. Most of you know me going by Shanon, but now I go by Lamina because I can ✨ (because that's my fursona). As I mentioned above I've become more of a traditional sketcher lately due to lack of time, my digital pieces are also sketches and I rarely do digital work (and when I do a clean pieces none cares -v-;; )
Having said that, I'll try uploading everything I haven't posted here (and deserves to be posted). The sketches will still stay on my Instagram/Twitter and the concept art that I do so be sure to check those out if you're interested (both go by @ _lamiina_ you'll see the watermark on all the drawings -v-;;; ) There will be a linktree link at the bottom of this journal and on my page ~
